As it's been a Socially Distancing, Virtual, Online kind of a year, the 40th London Marathon this year was 

completed as a virtual event.

The annual race was due to take place on 26 April but was pushed back to 4 October as the UK went into 

lockdown. One of our Scouts parents Ian McDonald, took part in the event, running the marathon around the

 village of Fleur De Lys. Joshua decided to support his dad by joining in for part of the marathon. It was a wet

 and cold day but you can see form the pictures that didn't slow them down and they finished when it was 

dark - we are very proud of Josh and his dad, well done to them both - great effort!!!
