Activity Park Booking

Prices

Prices shown are for the 2020 season and are correct at the time of publication. All prices are subject to change in January 2021. Any bookings confirmed with paid deposits will be accepted and charged as per the below rates. 

Camping - £4.50 per person per night.

Lodge
Lodge Hire: £40 per day 
Dormitory Beds: £5.00 per person per night (in addition to the lodge hire fee)

Please note that when booking The Lodge, only basic cooking equipment will be supplied. Groups are required to supply their own bowls/plates/cups etc as no crockery is supplied.

A deposit of £50 or full payment if the booking is for under £50 is required to be sent at the time of booking. We regret this is non-refundable. All final payments must be made as advised on the booking form, failure to make these payments may result in your booking being cancelled.

Booking Form

There are 2 stages to booking CRAI Scout Activity Centre:

1) Contact the Park Manager to ensure that we can accomodate you on your specified dates - Maria Pitten (Park Manager)  on bookings@park.craiscouts.org.uk

2) Once confirmed that facilities are available on your chosen dates, please enter your group and event details, site requirements and any notes in the form below. You may select activities from the list above and tell us your preferred date/times.

Additional Information

Groups should ensure that they are aware of any limitations on activities that are proscribed by their organisations.

All archery activities booked at the Park and using our equipment, must be supervised by our instructors.

Climbing and Abseiling is only available to Members of The Scout Association.

Tomahawk Throwing is explicitly listed as a banned activity by Girlguiding.

Please note, when booking The Lodge, only basic cooking equipment will be supplied. Groups are required to supply their own bowls, plates, cups etc as no crockery is supplied. 

All leaders conducting their own activities, using their own equipment, must hold the relevant qualifications and we will require copies of the original certificates to be sent to our booking secretary. Failure to do this will result in the appropriate facilities not being made available upon arrival.

All activities conducted at the Park must be in accordance with guidelines issued by The Scout Association as set in Policy, Organisation and Rules (POR).

Members of The Scout Association must also send a copy of their Nights Away Notification (NAN) form.

Occasionally there may be more than one group using the site at the same time. We will inform you if there are any other bookings for the site.
