Monday evening we had a lovely evening thanks to Stagecoach, based in Blackwood. Special thanks to Gareth Haywood and Mark Rogers who arranged for the bus to come down to the hut. The Beavers had to ask for a ticket to their home village and then went for a short ride around the locality.
The Beavers genuinely loved the session, we started working on the new Money Skills Activity badge too. One thing from the session as a colony we are not sure we could cope with the noise on a long bus trip!! LOL!!
We finished the evening by investing 14 new Beavers and a Leader, fantastic night, amazing to see colony growing so much again, 26 at the moment and have lots on waiting list to start in September.
